During the fall of 2006 our longtime friend and client Pete Mozer took a great non typical buck. Grossing in the 180’s this deer has it all and is a classic Alberta buck with lots of mass and dark antlers. The buck is ready for the wall now and looks great.

Had a good day out shed hunting. As usual this season we have found some big sheds off deer we have never seen before and a few from bucks we have been chasing for several years. Check out the new pics in the Shed Antlers album.

The 2007 waterfowl season is shaping up to be a great one. Record amounts of percipitation for the last few seasons paired with the  the heavy snow this winter should ensure water levels will remain in prime shape for nesting and staging birds this year. (more…)

We’ve wrapped up another great season and would like to congratulate all our successful hunters on their trophies taken in 06. Lots of Great deer were taken at our camps this past year including 2 huge non-typical whitetails, a 225 and a 240+! With all the nice trophies still out there next year should be another outstanding season.

The 2006 bird season was also fantastic and it was great to see the mallards and pintails on a huge increase. We had some unreal green head shoots late last fall.

The deer are starting to drop their antlers now. We’ve got some great sheds so far and are still waiting for several great bucks to drop. The deep snow is making things a bit tricky in places but we have done surprisingly well so far considering.
